Chevrolet Equinox and GMC Terrain Class Action Lawsuit
Williams Dirks Dameron filed a lawsuit on behalf of owners of 2014-2017 Chevrolet Equinox and GMC Terrain SUVs in Missouri.
The class action complaint alleges that GM knew the Chevrolet Equinox and GMC Terrain 2.4L Ecotec engines contain a defect that consumes excessive engine oil leading to: unanticipated engine shutdowns, engine stalls, engine knocking, engines running excessively hot, spark plug fouling, engine misfires, unexpected loss of power, and vehicle jerking. The defect ultimately requires an engine replacement and damages nearly every engine part, including timing chains, camshaft solenoids, and intake manifolds.
